the terrace hair space is collective of hair stylists with 50+ years of styling experience combined. Our friendly and intimate salon is located on West 4th Avenue in the heart of Vancouver’s bustling Kitsilano neighbourhood. We provide a range of hair care services and specialize in hair cuts, colour, highlights, and smoothing treatments. We create contemporary hair that is easy for our clients to style at home, and our team will help you personalize your look to suite your features and hair texture. We decided to venture out on our own to create a fun, safe space for all. At the terrace we hope you feel like you’re coming to hang out with some friends in the backyard, all while getting your hair done (who doesn’t love those kinds of hangouts?!). We love creating lasting relationships with our guests, quite a few who have been with us for 10+ years.

We strive to be as kind to the environment as possible. We are a Green Circle salon, which repurposes your cut hair into products to be used for Humanitarian efforts, composted, or turned into bio-composite plastics. Who knew?! Getting your haircut is helping the environment! Our colour waste is taken away to be turned into clean energy or separated into water and oil, and our foils are melted down to become new metals.
